Ordering in four steps
Choose
A package for 20, 25 or 30 people (with or without lox), additional platters, or both.
Request a quote
For your own family or for a shiva house: address, delivery date and time, and a gift note. You see an estimated total with HST.
We confirm
We call or email to confirm every detail and your final total, including the delivery fee for your location.
We deliver
The food arrives ready to serve on disposable platters. Nothing to return.
Platters can be ordered on their own, without a package.
Payment
- No payment on the website. Sending a quote request does not charge you anything.
- We confirm first. LJ Kitchens confirms your order and final total by phone or email.
- Then you pay by e-Transfer or cash, after we confirm.
- All prices are plus HST (13%). Delivery fee based on location.
Delivery
- Delivery area: the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), plus Aurora, Newmarket and Stouffville.
- Delivery fee: based on location. We tell you the fee when we confirm.
- How far ahead to order: please order at least 12 hours ahead. This applies to all orders.
- Delivery time: choose the date and time on the quote form, and we confirm it with you.

Service & Setup
- All food is presented on disposable platters, included in the package price.
- Premium display setup on wooden boards, risers or upgraded serving pieces is available for an additional charge.
- Setup fees start at $150 and vary depending on guest count and setup requirements.
- Wait staff are available for an additional charge based on the number of guests, hours and service required. Ask us for a quote.
What to expect at the door
Ready to serve
Your order arrives on disposable platters, ready to put out. There are no platter returns and no pick-up required, so nobody needs to wait at home for us to come back.
Sending to a shiva house
- Have the family's name and the shiva house address ready (including unit or buzzer number).
- Check the shiva times with the family or organiser, so the food arrives when people are there.
- Add a contact at the house if you can, someone we can call on arrival.
- Write a short gift note with your names. We include it with the delivery.
- Part of a meal train? Each person can request their own date. Share the link in your group.
